La Tablée des Chefs, a non-profit organization, drives chefs, cooks and pastry chefs from Quebec to community involvement. We stimulate their implication on three levels:
- Redistribution of food leftovers
- Preparation of ready-to-eat meals
- Transfer of culinary and nutritional knowledge to underprivileged youth
La Tablée des Chefs is also a cooking school. We offer cooking classes to the public where we are located, in Longueuil and Montreal. Businesses can also form groups and come prepare meals that can be redistributed to families in need. All profits generated by these activities finance our culinary programs such as Frère Toc culinary workshops.
La Tablée des Chefs fights against hunger by nourishing less privileged families and by developing culinary autonomy for future generations in order to break down the eventual cycle of food bank dependency.
